Restorative Nature connection for Wellbeing (for adults)
About the day
Discover a wellspring of helpful practices and skills to tend emotional, mental and physical well being. A reset for the nervous system. Combining nature connection practices along with tools and techniques to navigate stress, anxiety and low moods.
Receive the benefit of spending time in a beautiful natural setting amongst the trees, restoring yourself and experiencing inner and outer sanctuary through natures presence and self-compassion.
The workshop is led by Children’s Forest founder Anna Richardson and Counselling Psychologist Nicky Aisher and is open to anyone over 16 years.
Who is this day suitable for?
- This course is suitable for anyone over 16, no experience necessary.
The day will cover
- Learn practices and skills to tend emotional, mental and physical well being.
- Experience grounding and sensory exercises to help bring calm, clarity and connection.
- Learn nature themed song and natural lore.
- Create an opportunity to engage in simple nature connection
- Connecting with local community

About the tutors

Nicky Aisher: Nicky is a Counselling Psychologist who advises on emotional and psychological well being. She is passionate about connecting young people with nature given the profound benefits to psychological health and self-worth that come from a lasting connection with the natural world.

Jen Beaufoy Jen is a nature mentor working for children and adults, has worked as a permaculture designer and teacher, and is also a home educating mum. Jen is passionate about caring for Earth and for people and feels it is a great privilege to facilitate people’s connection to nature and witness what it brings forth.
