About the project: The first planting took place in Autumn 2021.
From the Landowner: “It was such a treat to be part of Children’s Forest, it feels really special to be part of it, especially through the stories, connection and space holding that the Children’s Forest team brought to the process of tree planting. Thank you for all that you shared with us and brought to the land. At Sawpit Woods and Hodore we are striving to improve, work with and honour the land for the wider good and working with you really allowed us to connect with this more deeply. We are excited to see our small wood grow and look forward to working with you again and continuing to welcome all generations, including those yet to come to enjoy the trees here.
